  1. Victorian High Tea

    Please join us as we go back in time when tea appeared in silver pots and you were served an assortment of unique mini sandwiches. Our authentic High Tea is a truly elaborate event with your host dressed in full Victorian costume. A feast for the senses with soothing sounds of classical music filling the air. Classic teas are served in glistening silver teapots and strainers from an antique English teacart. Fine china, Victorian silverware and lovely vintage linens are a visual delight. Period apparel and hats are encouraged.

    This Village of Hoffman Estates Arts Commission-sponsored event will take place on Wednesday, April 26, at 1 p.m. at the Sunderlage Farmhouse, 1775 Vista Lane, Hoffman Estates.

  3. Northwest Celtic Festival

    The Village of Hoffman Estates is hosting its sixth annual Northwest Celtic Festival on Saturday, April 29, 2017, and you are invited to participate! The community is bursting out of the cold and into spring by celebrating its Celtic heritage at the Sears Centre Arena, located at the Poplar Creek at 59/90 Entertainment District near the intersection of Route 59 and Interstate 90. This free family-friendly festival is hosted by the Village of Hoffman Estates. Join us for live entertainment, Celtic food, whiskey/scotch tasting, free kids games and activities, Irish Dancing demos, and more!   4. Greve Cemetery Tour

    At 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 30th, the Historical Sites Commission is offering free guided small group tours of Greve Cemetery, weather permitting. The tours explore the interrelated Greve, Meyer, Ottman and Sunderlage pioneer families buried at the cemetery, which is also know as Wildcat Grove Cemetery and Evangelical and Reformed Cemetery. Cemetery is located off Abbey Wood Drive near Queensbury Circle in Hoffman Estates. Call 847-781-2606 for reservations.

  6. Secret US Classic

    July 28th & 29th

    The 2017 Secret U.S. Classic, the final qualifying event for women's gymnastics for the P&G Gymnastics Championships, features some of the USA's top female gymnasts. The P&G Championships is the national championships for USA Gymnastics and determines the U.S. champions and the U.S. National Team.

    Many of the country's top gymnasts use the  Secret U.S. Classic as a final tune-up for the P&G Gymnastics Championships, while others are still hoping to qualify. In fact, The Final Five are winners of a combined 23 Classic Championships between 2012-2016!

  7. USAV Cup: U.S. Men vs. Brazil

    August 18 & 19, 7:30

    The U.S. Men were the only team to beat Brazil at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Brazil went on to win the gold medal while the United States took bronze. Brazil is the No. 1-ranked team in the world while the U.S. is No. 2. Among the U.S. players expected to compete are 2016 Olympic medalists Matt Anderson, Micah Christenson, Max Holt, Taylor Sander, Erik Shoji and Thomas Jaeschke, a native of Wheaton, Ill., and a star at Loyola of Chicago. “Our matches with Brazil are always exciting,” U.S. Head Coach John Speraw said. “At that time of year, both teams should be playing some of their best volleyball heading into the FIVB Grand Champions Cup. “We also really enjoy playing at the Sears Centre Arena. The crowds there are great and make for an incredible atmosphere.”
